About Teacher

Marhaba everyone! My name is Khaled. I'm always super excited to help students learn the Arabic language. My passion for teaching stems from my outgoing and extroverted personality and the long-term career I had in business before I immigrated to the United States. I'm always enthusiastic about meeting with bright and passionate students who are eager to learn one of the world's most difficult languages. I have been teaching the Arabic language in the U.S. since 2013, and have experience in teaching all levels of MSA, Levantine, Egyptian, and Arabic Gulf area dialects. I strive to build close relationships with students through my use of simple teaching methods, and I try to break down traditional language rules and teach through fun educational exercises. My classes are interactive and employ games and repetition as tools to help students learn. My favorite moment is when I see a student's eyes light up when they are able to implement what they learned during class in their everyday life. Outside of teaching, I love to travel, sample various cuisines, watch movies or Broadway shows, attend concerts, learn (even more) languages, dance, go to the gym, and go to parties.
